Compress VPC

1. Clean up the database (db). Shrink the db, data and its log file. If db's log file is still in large size, then detact, remove and attact the log file again for the db.

2. Clean up the VPC - may use CCleaner or Disk CleanUp to do so.

3. Disable Hibernation in Control Panel > Power Option.

4. Capture Virtual Disk Precompactor.ISO [in VPC host - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Virtual PC\Virtual Machine Additions\Virtual Disk Precompactor.iso].

5. Run the "Virtual Disk Precompactor.ISO" in VPC.

6. Shut down VPC.

7. In VPC Console, click File > Virtual Disk Wizard, then select option "Edit an existing virtual disk".

8. Select option "Compact" and select option "Replacing the original file" or "Save As...".
